Roger Goodell is a habitual line stepper; Jerry Jones is NOT fighting Goodell, Goodell is fighting Jerry Jones. Ladies and Gentlemen you are witnessing the end of the NFL.

Does it affect him, of course it does. But it made me fight harder and harder to get to the truth. Same applies to Zeke. You find out who your friends are when you go through some bullshit like this that’s for sure.

Zeke’s statement after winning yet another motion to play:

"This is bigger than a suspension. It's bigger than football. It's them trying to make me something I'm not. I'm not an abuser. That's not who I am."

He continued, "This is my name and this is my reputation. That's something that I have to live with beyond football so, every day is worth fighting for."

So true, it’s bigger than life and although I may be a little bias here, I’m not alone when I say Roger Goodell and the NFL are really destroying Zeke’s life and football as we know it. They have NO idea what they are doing to his mental and emotional state.  Who else is being hurt besides Zeke? His family for sure. Not one person, from what I can see, has reached out to Zeke’s family throughout all this. Who else is getting hurt here besides Zeke, his family, friends, team, what about us the fans? It’s making us all but have a nervous breakdown. Now that may sound funny to you but I see it every day on twitter, facebook etc.

Zeke is a smart young man and yeah maybe he was partying a little too much but haven’t we all. C’mon I have pulled down a few tube tops in my day too. I grew up in New Orleans and Mardi Gras was always a good time. I moved to Dallas after losing everything in Katrina right after being falsely accused of sexual assault.

There’s a really good comprehensive timeline of Ezekiel Elliott's domestic violence case on Sports Nation by Sarah Hardy if you need more details of just how the NFL was running their egotistical will up Zeke’s you know what.

On October 30th I was going back and forth with Pete Bush and a good friend of mine that works around Courthouse in NYC Let’s call this person “The Blue Knight” they would like that since they are a huge Cowboys fan.

On phone with The Blue Knight…

Blue Knight: Tom, the judge is going to deny the Zeke motion

Tom Stokes: Why? What’s going on? I thought we said she was going to grant the motion.

Blue Knight: I thought so to but something has come up and the recusal was never a mitigating factor ( Visit  Title 28 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure)

Tom Stokes: Is this the tie with her husband being part of the firm that worked on the CBA?

Blue Knight: Yes! But don’t worry it’s going to go top 2nd Circuit I know the Judges there too.

Tom Stokes: Well, there’s no way this CBA passes the test and supersedes the federal law, what gives? Like why can’t the lower Court rule in Zeke’s favor and be done?

Blue Knight: Judge Failla was going to rule in Zeke’s favor and then she had a conference call.

Tom Stokes: Who was on the call?

Blue Knight: It was _____________________

Tom Stokes: Ahhh, now I get it! Makes sense.

Blue Knight: I thought that would help shed a little better light on it all

Tom Stokes: If I spin that out the NFL will be at my doorstep with black suburban’s (I laughed at this nervously)

Blue Knight: It’s really mess up and has a lot to do with __________________ he’s the one that’s really pushing it. They were close to a settlement agreement too

Tom Stokes: Wow! Are you kidding me? That makes sense too and I sure he feels like he has something to prove. Zeke is really innocent and I hope they don’t take a settlement and keep fighting.

Blue Knight: There’s a lot of backroom talk on that

Tom Stokes: So now what?

Blue Knight: I don’t know what to tell you but between the Vegas connection, NFL and the Feds be careful how you move.

Tom Stokes: Fuck it! I’m going to tweet that Zeke will play reminder of the season to deflect and I want you to make sure they see what I tweet… deal?

Blue Knight: Deal.

The above statement with The Blue Knight was recorded and documented for my protection. If something happens to me the tapes will be released. When Zeke said “It’s bigger than football, it’s his life” He was right but this is even bigger than his life. It goes deep into holes that no one knew really existed in the NFL.

Just to be clear and although I am not a lawyer I have studied law and at one time thought was going to be a lawyer. Here’s what I can tell you, we all have fundamental rights that are protected by our great nation's Constitution. There is no piece of paper signed by any corporation going to ever supersede this. We are protected under federal law. What law? This law:

The Fifth Amendment says to the federal government that no one shall be "deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law." The Fourteenth Amendment, ratified in 1868, uses the same eleven words, called the Due Process Clause, to describe a legal obligation of all states.

Although NFL has a CBA in place, and although this is a labor case there is no way the 14th Amendment doesn’t apply.

For some crazy ass reason, the NFL thinks that the Constitution of the

The United States of America doesn’t mean anything or at the very least apply to their league and/or the CBA. But this makes sense as they also don’t enforce the 4 U.S.C. United States Code, 2011 Edition Title 4 - FLAG AND SEAL, SEAT OF GOVERNMENT, AND THE STATES\CHAPTER 1 – “THE FLAG”

Sorry didn’t mean to get sidetracked… We’ll talk a little Anthem later.
